About the job
This newly created role reflects the changing requirements of a fast growing, dynamic business with PE investment. It will offer opportunities to work closely with the Exec team and the private equity investors. It will report to the CFO, who has significant experience of high-growth companies, working with PE investors and a strong track record of helping team members develop their careers. The role will include:
- Day to day management of the finance and accounting operations
- Oversight and management of the annual financial statements and audit process
- Managing the budget process
- Production, development and enhancement of the monthly Board reporting (including management accounts)
- Ensuring adequate controls and processes are in place
- Supporting the development and enhancement of the Data Warehouse and associated financial reporting
- Working on ad hoc projects with Exec team and our PE investors as required
Skills
- Qualified accountant with post qualified industry experience- you will have a strong core accounting skill set coupled with commercial acumen
- Experience of fast growth businesses and a developing finance function
- Ability to produce high quality, accurate and insightful MI
